The Tinker board is a powerful single board computer from Asus that can do everything the Raspberry Pi 3 can and more. It features a powerful 1.8GHz Quad core ARM processor from Rockchip and twice as much memory as the Raspberry Pi 3. The Tinker board maintains the same dimensions and hardware layout of the Raspberry Pi 3 making it compatible with the accessories of the Raspberry Pi.
The onboard 3.5mm audio jack is capable of a playback rate of 24Bit/192Khz and microphone in without the need for any additional hardware unlike the Raspberry Pi.
The increased performance does come with a requirement of a stable power supply capable of powering the board with 5V/2.4A.
Asus offers its take on Debian called Tinker OS and can be downloaded from the Asus website here
