A new day, a new edge device. The Asus Tinker Edge T is a powerful single board computer featuring the Google Edge TPU for improved machine learning performance and a lower power consumption than the Raspberry Pi. The onboard Edge TPU facilitates faster processing of your TensorFlow programs.
It comes with an on board 8GB eMMC flash memory onto which the OS can be installed thereby eliminating the need for a microSD card to get started, however you do require a computer the first time around to install the OS using the OS flash tool from Asus.
The board is powered using the DC jack and requires an input voltage of 12-19V at up to 45W for a smooth operation. You can pick one from us soon.
The GPIO breakout has the same layout of the Raspberry Pi allowing for nearly all of hats to be compatible with the Tinker Edge T as well.
